In this two-part class, we’ll explore landscape drawing using oil pastels, a vibrant and expressive medium known for its rich color and painterly feel. Participants will learn how to layer, blend, and build texture while creating depth and atmosphere in a landscape composition.
 
Across both sessions, we’ll focus on:
• Color blending and transitions
• Creating light, shadow, and movement
• Using oil pastels to suggest space, land, and sky
• Developing a cohesive landscape from start to finish
 
This class offers guided instruction while leaving room for personal interpretation and creative exploration. Whether your landscape feels calm, dramatic, or abstracted, you’ll gain tools you can continue using beyond the class.
 
All supplies are included, and no prior oil pastel experience is required.
