Coiled Serving Bowl: Handbuilt Clay Workshop
In this class, students will create a functional serving bowl using traditional clay coil techniques. We’ll explore how to build form through layering coils, shaping curves, and refining surfaces to create a bowl that’s both beautiful and usable.
You’ll be guided step-by-step through building a strong foundation, creating even coils, and shaping your bowl with intention. Along the way, we’ll talk about balance, thickness, and subtle design choices that elevate a handmade piece. No wheel work required, this class focuses fully on handbuilding and slowing down with the material.
All supplies are included. Finished bowls will be fired and ready for pickup at a later date.
