Learn one of the oldest and most versatile clay-building techniques by creating your very own coil sample pot! In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore how to roll, stack, and blend clay coils to build a functional or decorative vessel. Coil sample pots are a great introduction to hand-building, offering plenty of freedom to experiment with shape, texture, and height while still learning foundational ceramic skills.
Once the pot is formed, students can choose to glaze their piece during class (as time allows) or opt for a classic white or black dip glaze for a clean, finished look.
The workshop includes all materials, glazing, and kiln firing, with finished pieces available for pickup in approximately one month due to drying and firing time.
