Bagel Basket Class with Bonnie’s Baskets

Join Bonnie from Bonnie’s Baskets for a full-day weaving workshop and create your very own Bagel Basket: a versatile, handcrafted piece that’s both functional and beautiful. Originally designed in 2009 and updated for today, this basket is perfect for displaying or storing anything, from bagels and fruit to towels or tabletop décor.
 
During this hands-on class, you’ll learn a variety of basketry techniques, including setting up a woven filled base, twining, triple twining with an arrow weave, and finishing with an overlay and leather handles. Each basket is accented with beads and copper wire  and you’ll get to design your own using your choice of bead colors and details.
 
Accent colors for the class are moss green and smoked, and the finished basket measures approximately 3¾” H x 19½” L x 12” W.
A catered lunch is included, and all supplies are provided.
